Hassad Food took part in an official inspection tour conducted by His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of Food Security Policies across both the public and private sectors, at the Land Customs Department of the Abu Samra Border Crossing. During the visit, participants reviewed the workflow and followed up on procedures related to the monitoring and auditing of imported food commodities.
The delegation also reviewed customs inspection platforms and X-ray screening mechanisms for trucks, in addition to the customs facilitation measures in place to accelerate the clearance of food goods and support their smooth flow into the local market – all as part of overseeing Qatar’s integrated national food security system.
