Hassad Internship Program
Hassad believes in the importance of activating the role of Qatari youth, thus it launched its training program “Hassad Internship Program” in 2021, targeting undergraduate students.The program introduces students to the agribusiness field, and educates them on the importance of food security to the State of Qatar.
The internship program includes several training courses throughout the year. During the course, students get the chance to work in the fields, factories, and Hassad’s headquarters, to ensure all students get an integrated practical educational experience. Moreover, students will participate in activities related to Hassad’s pavillion in AgriteQ Exhibition.
The program has attracted more than 70 students since its launch, with the participation of five international and local universities.
DURATION & NATURE OF WORK
The program is scheduled to last for one month – during this period; students will be divided into groups on rotation basis, between fields, factories & Hassad’s main office, to ensure students get an integrated learning experience.
