As part of ongoing efforts to oversee the food security system and strengthen local production, H.E. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality, visited the headquarters of Mahaseel for Marketing and Agricultural Services. During the visit, he was briefed on the abundance, diversity, and capacity of local production to meet the demands of the domestic market. His Excellency’s tour continued with an inspection of the A’Sailiya Central Market, where he observed the local auction operations for domestic and imported fruits and vegetables, and gained firsthand insight into the market’s sales mechanisms. H.E. was also briefed on Hassad’s efforts to ensure the continuity of food supply through air and land routes, guaranteeing the availability of food products and meeting consumer needs.
