Hassad invested locally in the Arab Qatari Company for Poultry Production “Al-Waha”, the largest poultry producer in Qatar. Hassad developed an expansion plan to boost Al Waha’s operations and increase its production. In 2020, Al Waha concluded phase 1 of the expansion, which saw a vast production growth, covering 70% of the local market demands of chilled poultry, and 40% of table eggs.

Al-Waha is working in full capacity to complete phase 2 of the expansion, which will see a noticeable increase in local poultry production levels, expected to reach 16M chicken and 130M table eggs/year.
