Currently the local market's requirement for green fodder is approximately 60,000 tonnes per year, while only about 6,000 tonnes a year is produced locally, Meeting one of our short term objectives, we are pleased to say that Hassad Qatar is well on its way towards achieving self-sufficiency, in the area of Qatar’s green fodder requirements. Our goal is to eradicate the need for fodder imports completely by the year 2011. Hassad Qatar’s exclusive farms now produce …..% of the local market needs.
Hassad Qatar takes its commitment to the local animal and livestock industry seriously. That is why we are working to ensure maximum access and availability of our produce. The fodder we produce has been made available at optimum locations which include Al Shahaniya, Wakra, Simsima and Abu Hamour. |
